Welcome to CJR Psychology
I am currently accepting new telehealth referrals. Please refer to the bookings page to request an appointment.
About the Clinic
As a registered psychologist, I offer compassionate, collaborative, and individualised care to adolescents (14+) and adults experiencing emotional, psychological, or life challenges.
At the heart of my work is a client-centred philosophy—supporting individuals to build practical skills, deepen self-understanding, and develop effective strategies for self-management and personal growth. I am committed to providing a supportive, safe, and non-judgmental space where you can feel comfortable exploring your thoughts and emotions openly and authentically.
I utilise an integrative approach that draws on a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (PDT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), among others. Each session is tailored to meet your unique needs, goals, and circumstances.

Learn More About Me

Frequently Asked Questions
No, you do not need a referral to see me, and you can self-refer at anytime. However, please be aware that to receive a Medicare rebate, a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) and referral from your G.P. is required (please refer to "am I eligible for a rebate" for further information)
Yes, Medicare rebates are available for psychological treatment by registered psychologists such as me under the Australian Government's Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative. In order to access the rebate, you must obtain a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your G.P. This will make you eligible for 10 rebated sessions per calendar year (with a review after session 6).
I have a flat rate of $200 per session. With a valid Mental Healthcare Plan, this means that you will be $101.05 out of pocket per session. Bulk billing is available for those who are financially disadvantaged. Please get in contact to learn more.
Whether you have attended therapy in the past, or this is your first time, it is normal to feel some anxiousness or hesitation before your first session. During the first session, I will ask questions to get to know you and your situation better and will likely ask you to think about, before the next session, some goals you may have for therapy. There is no pressure to "share everything" and things will be taken at your own unique pace.
Absolutely, this can be done at any stage, and you are not obligated to remain with a psychologist you begin working with. I believe that the more fruitful therapeutic work occurs when there is a strong alliance between therapist and client. If you want assistance in finding the 'right fit' or discovering what that may mean for you, please don't hesitate to start the conversation.
Whilst I aim to work as time efficiently as possible, the amount of contact will vary from person to person. Some individuals may find that one course (6-10 sessions) is adequate, others may find that longer-term interventions are necessary, whilst still others may decide that returning to therapy during certain transitional periods is required. We will discuss therapy goals and timelines during your first couple of sessions. Typically, the first 4 sessions will be held weekly with all subsequent sessions on a fortnightly basis, however, this is not a set policy.
As a registered psychologist, I am bound by privacy and confidentiality laws, meaning that anything we discuss will remain between us, whilst there are limitations to this* you can be rest assured that the content of our sessions will remain confidential. If you are under a MHCP I have to provide written updates to your G.P. This will include one of us commencing, progress reports and finishing work together; however, this correspondence will not include in-depth content of our sessions. I will ALWAYS endeavour to discuss with you first any information I share with others.
*We will discuss confidentiality and privacy limitations in our first session; however, some common limitations may include court subpoenas or safety concerns.
